CHILDREN OF
TANZANIA
Info
When one parent is HIV-infected, the probability is high that the other parent is as well. Therefore, children often lose both parents in quick succession.
Info
Orphans often lack basic survival provisions such as food, cothes, medication, blankets or shelter.

A NOTE OF THANKS AND APPRECIATION

In the picture on top is Clement Chungu (Country Director-Tanzania), Maria Mastromateo and Robert Tulis at PBS TV CHANNEL 45/49.

Elisac Center for Children extends a hand full of thanks to Maria Mastromoteo of PBS TV STATION--CHANNEL 45/49.

Your timely donation of childrens books and crayons for Tanzanian children who have lost their parents due to the killer disease HIV/AIDS has put a smile on many childrens faces.

A good mom will always think of her children, and Maria, you have set an example.

We will mail pictures of children receiving the books. Elisac Center for Children has distributed the books to the Children in the Kilimanjaro Region,Tanzania.

The children were very happy. You could see tears coming to their faces. They love the books and crayons and enjoy them very much.

Thank you PBS Channel 45 & 49 under supervision of Maria.
